Understanding

I don't want to be noticed. But I want attention. I don't want to be heard. But I want to be understood. I don't want to be brave. But I want to be able to just cry out loud. I don't want to be independent. But I want to rely on others.

This excerpt was written by a friend.

Isn't it ironic that the majority of us feel this way? Most of us are too petrified to act on what we feel inside, thinking that when its projected,we would be mocked...laughed at even for even having such emotions. But why should we be afraid of what we feel/think?Its what makes us who we are, separates us from the usual clique. But then again...feeling scores of insecurities just makes us human.God didnt create robots....

Humans create robots.

Nobody can generate emotions by turning it on with a switch.Emotions are never simple...and neither is love and life.In fact, nothing is ever simple.

Life is a journey...enjoy it and the sceneries that you're blessed to see. There are two ways. You either sit back and let someone else drive and control your direction or you can take a stand and take control of the wheel...driving the car where you want to go...and how far you want it to go.It takes COURAGE,PASSION,FAITH AND DETERMINATION.Once you have all of those...you'll NEVER go wrong nor be led astray because if you are in control of what you want to do and where you want to go,everything will fall into place. But before doing all of that, first you need to believe in yourself. Now I have troubles in that area,a favorite topic my close friends have told me many times.I just fail to apply that to me.

"It's okay to make mistakes. Mistakes are our teachers -- they help us to learn"

People seem to get offended by every little thing I say when I am NOT trying to be rude!Or every little something I do,sets the TNT off!I'm not an openly combative person...unless it becomes necessary.Well I used to but not anymore. But sometimes, the message needs to get across.I learnt that from my big brother. He can be brutally honest with me but I'd take it cuz I know its the truth.Sometimes you just got to stick it.But the results are not always what you want them to be.It never does.Actions have repurcussions but so do words. It can lift up a person's spirit or send the individual crashing into the waiting dark abyss.

The story that I'm writing...there is a scene that reflects who I am.Just for the record,it never was my intention to write it but it came out anyways.Suited the plotline...flow and continuation of the story.

“Sometimes, it’s hard to talk to you, even if it’s just asking you for a glass of water. I know you mean well but you’re a little harsh and blunt at times, not many people can take that.Truth hurts but you have to remember that not all of us are made of steel.”

And I've copied and pasted it exactly as it is from the story.I didn't change it so what you see is what you get from the story...but none of you may be able to read it...or maybe just a few.I am very self-conscious of my stories.Like I said in my previous paragraphs...I need to start believing in myself before others can believe in me.Its difficult but I have/need to try.

2 Fast 2 Furious was a good movie. The cars were uber cool and the stunts were amazing.Muscle...tuners...exotics...bloody fantastic.I wish singapore would have a wider range of cars...and modifications were actually allowed.Having a car is not worth it if you ask me.More of a luxury than a necessity but then again, who doesn't want to own a car?I do!

Anyways...ever wish you were in a movie like 2 Fast 2 Furious or Tokyo Drift?Well,I've been in one...a REAL one.And it was fucking wicked!Hahaha...yeah man!!!A friend drives a modded set of wheels. And we were racing on the highways man!!From chasing a Lancer to swerving tight corners to evading in and out of traffic!Heck,we even dominated the expressway lanes! The speed just thrills me.Its not a good habit I know but I can't help it.I love racing & speeding!I love how it sends the rush and sitting behind the wheel...I absolutely can't begin to imagine!

Met up with Mao and Oven today.Bugis madness as usual.Bowls of fishsoup for me.Made a new friend.Spewed random nonsense.Didn't take the lift plunge tho...maybe next time.Hung out with Nur Aini the day before yesterday.Nice to see her again after all these while.Caught up with my big brother as well.Despite going in different directions, just a minority of us are in touch with one another.I don't even know what's going on in my other friends' lives. How is a friendship going to last if the other party doesn't bother?

Edited my wife's scholarship application.I hope and pray that she gets it cuz I really do want her to come here and stay.I miss her!And bubble tea madness!!

I WANT RAIN!!!
